Humanities Narrative Project
My first big project that I did as a Animas High student was the humanities narrative history project. We were asked to take a moment of civil disobedience in American history, and create some kind of narrative out of it.
For my project I was interested in women's rights. Therefore I researched what contributions Susan B. Anthony made in the scheme of women's rights. Through this project I learned a great deal of Ms. Anthony's strengths and contributions and her fight for what she saw as unfair.
As my final piece of work, I put together a book full of journal entries and collages to go along with them. The journal entries were from Susan and other people who were affected by Susan along the way. With each entry is a collage that symbolizes what is being said through a 21 century lens. It shows how Susan's works have affected the women of today and yesterday.
